The World Trade Organization (WTO) commenced on January 1, 1995 under Marrakesh Agreement. It deals with regulations of trade between participating countries. It lays down the rules to be followed during trade agreements, and solves all trade disputes that may occur during the process of trade. The six major furniture manufacturers from Richland must explore the possibilities of avoiding the anti-dumping action and take legal action.
They are supposed to file a case against the anti-dumping matter. This is according to the agreement of the WTO members which was signed in 1994 on the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes. Such disputes are stipulated in the rules of the WTO and their violation may lead to sanction of goods if evidence is provided against the case at hand. They must also involve their government in this case so that the case can be dealt with very fast.
