Terrorism, according to many scholars is the systematic use of terror mainly as a means of coercion. It involves use of both violent and non-violent acts, that have the intention of creating fear, are perpetrated mainly for an ideological reason or goal and do not regard the safety of civilians.
Cyber terrorism has also been defined as the combination of terrorism and cyberspace. It involves illegal threats of attacks or real attacks against networks, computers and the information stored there intended to coerce or intimidate governments, institutions or the people to further social and or political goals. These attacks usually cause enough harm to generate fear and in many cases result in violence against people and or their property.
