Secondly, the special libraries also vary depending on the users of the materials that hold for use (Margaret, 1992, p.5). Special libraries have a distinct set or sets of users whose requirements and affinities are well recognized and they can be met to their personal satisfaction without delay.
Special libraries serve their users to their satisfaction regardless of their occupation or experience because they are aware of the group they need to serve as they can quantify the users and clearly know their interests. Thirdly, special libraries are characterized by the materials that they store for usage by users. Many of the libraries store a wide range of materials not only the reading publications such as books and periodicals but also brochures, copyright articles among others (Margaret, 1992, p.6).
