Wheel, chain, circle and all-channel are common communication networks within the organization. In wheel network, communication is from a central source to others in the organization (Communication Network of the Organization). Chain communication occurs in a sequence. Both ensure information is transmitted from the source to the target but there is very little interaction between the members communicating.
In the circle network, members communicate with those close to them physically or professionally. For instance, those who are physically close in terms of offices or departments communicate through the circle network.
