This s one of the earliest form of architecture, which was common in 5th century BC and 3rd century AD especially in Greece and Rome countries. According to Curl, (2003), it refers to the architecture influenced by the ancient Greeks or Romans. The fact that it originated from the above-mentioned two major groups, it was very unique since it was influenced largely by the culture beliefs, values and practices of these people.
The major renowned characteristics of buildings that were built in the classical architecture form is that, they mainly emphasized on column and pediment. This was derived from the post-and-bean system whereby the columns carried the load with the stones and marble being the main materials of construction instead of timber.
