Due to cultural diversity it is good to look for companies that employs diverse workforce in their line of duty (Jean 1992). The main challenge is to prove that even the discriminated groups can perform better. This can be achieved by having positive mind of self esteem.
It is hard to overcome these challenges without doing away with negative attitudes of one’s tribe or race. Another challenge is the acceptance versus self-denial of one’s group entity. This is well demonstrated by those people who go for plastic surgery to change from black to white or the other way round.
One should appreciate the cultural knowledge and commitment to the group. If there would be no proper relationship between self esteem and cultural diversity, then the basic foundation of one’s group is lost leading to low self esteem. Strong and firm ethnic identity with positive attitude toward oneself creates high self-esteem that can push for equal job opportunities and communication in the corporate system.
